Rogers Waters trouxe seu show “The Wall” para o Brasil em Março e foi realmente algo espetacular. Mesmo sem ser fã do Pink Floyd, foi uma experiência fantástica, inesquecível. Abaixo, algumas fotos que tirei do show (clique em “Leia mair” se você só vê uma).
Rogers Waters brought his “The Wall” concert to Brazil in March and it was something really spectacular. Even not being a Pink Floyd fan, this was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. Below are some photos I took at the concert (click on “Read more” if you see only one).

Carnaval do Rio – Carnival in Rio
Este ano fui pela primeira vez ver de perto os carros alegóricos dos desfiles de escolas de samba do Rio de Janeiro, enquanto aguardavam a hora de entrar no Sambodromo. É um trabalho fascinante, colorido e encantador. De perto podemos ver detalhes da construção dos carros, que adquirem outra cara quando são terminados e recebem os integrantes que desfilam sobre eles. Abaixo, uma amostra do que vi.
This year was the first time I went see the floats of the samba schools parade in Rio de Janeiro, while they waited fr the moment to enter the Sambadrome. It is a fascinating work, colorful and charming. Up close you can see details of the construction of the cars, that become something else once they are finished and receive members that parede on them. Below, a sample of what I saw.

Máximo Silêncio em Paris
O Rio de Janeiro recebeu no final de janeiro uma obra do artista italiano Giancarlo Neri entitulada “Máximo Silêncio em Paris”. A instalação consiste de 9000 lâmpadas espalhadas pela Praça Paris, que vão mudando de cor aleatoriamente, criando um efeito diferente e encantador. Esta foi uma das fotos que tirei e mais abaixo vocês encontram uma apresentação com fotos e vídeos.
Rio de Janeiro received in late January a work by the Italian artist Giancarlo Neri entitled “Maximum Silence in Paris”. The installation consists of 9,000 bulbs scattered throughout Paris Square, changing colors randomly and thus creating a different and charming effect. This was one of the photos I took and further below you will find a presentation with pictures and videos.
