Erice é uma encantadora cidade do noroeste da Sicília, a 750m acima do nível do mar. Embora bem antiga, o que se vê hoje é basicamente da Idade Média. Sua imponente catedral gótica (Duomo dell’Assunta), por exemplo, é do século XIV.
Erice is a charming city of northwest Sicily, 750m above the sea level. Although very old, what we see today is basically from the Middle Ages. Its imposing gothic cathedral (Duomo dell’Assunta), for example, is from the 14th century.

O Castelo de Vênus foi construído no século XII em estilo normando, sobre os restos de um antigo templo dedicado a Vênus.
Venus Castle was built in the 12th century in Norman style, on the remains of an ancient temple dedicated to Venus.

A cidade possui diversas igrejas interessantes e a maioria delas está aberta ao público. Quase todas as construções da cidade são em pedra, o que lhe confere uma atmosfera que nos leva de volta no tempo. Erice é famosa também por seus doces.

The city has several interesting churches and most of them are open to the public. Almost all the city’s buildings are of stone, giving it an atmosphere that takes us back in time. Erice is famous also for its pastries.

Chiclayo is a city in northern Peru that is a departure point to visit several archeological sites around the region, such as Huaca Rajada in Sipán and the pyramids of Túcume.

Este museu exibe uma vasta coleção de tesouros arqueológicos obtidos por Heinrich Brüning, arqueólogo peruano nascido na Alemanha, que dedicou sua vida ao estudo das várias civilizações que habitaram esta região.
Next to Chiclayo, the city of Lambayeque hosts two importants museums: the royal tombs of Sipán and the Museo Nacional de Arqueología y Etnografía Heinrich Bruning. This museum displays a vast collection of archeological treasures gathered by Heinrich Brüning, a German-born Peruvian archaeologist who dedicated his life to the study of the many civilizations that inhabited this area.
