Bled é uma cidade junto a um lago de mesmo nome. Nas fotos de turismo, vemos um lindo lago com montanhas nevadas ao fundo (os Alpes Julianos). No dia em que fui lá, entretanto, a paisagem estava assim, cinza. Mas até que tinha seu charme, com aquelas nuvens baixas dando um ar misterioso ao lugar.
 

Bled is a town next to a lake of the same name. In the tourism pictures, we see a beautiful lake with snowy mountains in the background (the Julian Alps). The day I was there, however, the landscape was like this, gray. But even this had its charm, with those low clouds giving an eerie atmosphere to this place.

Quando visitei o castelo, chovia. Depois o tempo abriu durante o passeio no lago. Dois cenários bem diferentes. Naquele dia estava havendo uma feira medieval no castelo, com artesanato, música e comida.
When I visited the castle, it rained. Afterwards the sky cleared during the ride in the lake. Two very distinct sceneries. There was a medieval fair in the castle that day, with crafts, music and food.
 


 




 





Um agradável passeio de gôndola nos leva até a Ilha de Bled, no meio do lago, com uma pequena igreja que é muito popular para casamentos.
A pleasant gondola ride takes us to Bled Island, in the middle of the lake, with a small church that is very popular for weddings.
 



Para completar uma visita a Bled, a Garganta de Vintgar é um passeio delicioso ao longo do rio Radovna, acompanhando sua inúmeras corredeiras. O dia nublado era perfeito para fotos.
To make a visit to Bled complete, Vintgar Gorge is a delightful walk along the river Radovna, following its countless rapids. The cloudy day was perfect for photos.

 



 




Dica: há um ônibus do centro de Bled para Vintgar e que volta 90min depois, tempo suficiente para o passeio, e a gente pode saltar no castelo na volta.
Tip: there is a bus from Bled’s center to Vintgar that returns 90min later, enough time for the visit, and we can get off at the castle.
