For one week in May 1998, a friend and I travelled through winding roads, from Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive to the hazy Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Everyday we were presented with mountain scenery, wildflowers, waterfalls, historic sites and even bears! A pleasant trip that I am going to share with you in the next pages, illustrated with some of the photos I took along the way.
