O Vale das Pirâmides, em Túcume, no Peru, é um complexo de 26 construções que foram usadas como moradia, templos e governo, em especial durante o período Moche.

The Valley of the Pyramids, in Túcume, Peru, is a complex of 26 buildings that were used as homes, temples and government, especially during the Moche period.

As intempéries, especialmente as chuvas trazidas pelo El Niño, danificam bastante o sítio.

The weather, especially the rain brought by El Niño, severely damage the site.

Subindo uma trilha e escadas, pode-se ver o sítio do alto. Na foto abaixo, desse mirante, vê-se três das pirâmides. Há uma maquete no museo do sítio que permite ver como esta área foi um dia.

 

Climbing a trail and steps, we can see the site from above. In the photo below, from this lookout, we see three of the pyramids. There is a model in the site’s museum that allows us to see how this area once was.
