A Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Montserrat, no Rio de Janeiro, faz parte do Mosteiro de São Bento. A igreja foi construída no século XVII e seu interior é ricamente decorado em estilo barroco, com paredes de talha dourada (madeira talhada revestida com ouro) que foram recentemente restauradas, pois este tesouro estava ameaçado por cupins. The Church of Our Lady of Montserrat, in Rio de Janeiro, is part of the Mosteiro de São Bento (Benedictine Monastery). The church was built in the 17th century and its interior is richly adorned in baroque style, with walls of talha dourada (gilded wood-carving) that were recently restored, as this treasure was at risk with termites.
