Há 100 anos, o Professor Robert Williams Wood, da Universidade Johns Hopkins University, nos Estados Unidos, divulgou as primeiras fotografias usando a ténica que ele criou para captar as radiações infravermelha e ultravioleta. Desenvolvida para uso científico e militar - a radiação infravermelha mostra diferentes temperaturas dos objetos fotografados - ela acabou também se transformando numa forma artística de fotografia, por gerar imagens com cores alteradas meio surrealistas, como esta abaixo. 100 years ago, Professor Robert Williams Wood, from Johns Hopkins University, in the United States, published the first photos using the technique he created for capturing infrared and ultraviolet radiation. Developed for scientific and military use - infrared radiation shows the different temperatures of the photographed objects - it became also an artistic form of photography, as it created images with altered colors and a touch of surrealism, as this one above.
