Escavações recentes em um sítio arqueológico da Sicília, Itália, revelou um cemitério da antiga colônia grega de Himera, com cerca de 2500 anos. Algumas covas coletivas parecem guardar os restos de soldados mortos em batalha, mas também foram encontrados restos de crianças acompanhadas de vasos em argila que poderiam ser primitivas mamadeiras, como na foto ao lado. Recent excavations in an archeological site in Sicily, Italy, revealed a cemitery in the ancient Greek colony of Himera, about 2500 years old. Some mass graves seem to contain the remains of soldiers killed in battles, but also children remains were found, together with clay amphorae that can be primitive feeding bottles, like in the image at left.
