Cientistas descobriram no Quênia as mais antigas pegadas humanas. Há cerca de um milhão e meio de anos atrás, provavelmente diversos homo erectus deixaram suas marcas na lama, que depois secou. A semelhança com a pegada de um homem atual é impressionante, como pode ser visto no artigo Early humans toed the line da revista Science. Scientists discovered in Kenya the earliest human footprints. Around one and a half million years ago, probably several homo erectus left their mark on mud, which later dried. The resemblance with a current human footprint is striking, as shown in the article Early humans toed the line, by Science magazine.
