O telescópio espacial Hubble capturou imagens de um interessante fenômeno: ondas de choque remanescentes de uma explosão estrelar que aconteceu há mais de 8000 anos e que por sua velocidade aquecem os gases e emitem radiação. A foto foi colorizada para ampliar o efeito. A explosão da supernova que gerou esta onda de choque foi a maior já vista na Terra, no ano de 1006. Leia mais nos links abaixo.

Hubble space telescope captured images of an interesting phenomenon: shock waves remnant of an explosion that happened more than 8,000 years ago and that by its speed heat the gases and cause radiant emission. The photo was colorized to enhance the effect. The explosion of the supernova that caused this shock wave was the brightest seen on Earth, in year 1006. Read more in the links below.
