Evgueni Khaldei foi o autor de uma das fotos mais famosas da Segunda Guerra Mundial, mostrando soldados soviéticos colocando a bandeira de seu país no alto Reichstag, o Parlamento alemão, quando da tomada de Berlim pelo exército soviético em 1945. Evgueni Khaldei was the author of one of the most famous photos of World War II, showing soviet soldiers placing their country's flag on top of Reichstag, the German parliament, when Berlin was taken by the soviet army in 1945.
