Arqueólogos descobriram no sítio de Jiskairumoko, no Peru, um colar de ouro e turquesa que é o mais antigo artefato de ouro já encontrado nas Américas, com cerca de 4100 anos. As peças de ouro foram marteladas e perfuradas para serem montadas no colar. A jóia foi encontrada em um túmulo e acredita-se que perteceu a uma mulher nobre. Leia mais nos links abaixo.
Archeologists have discovered at the Jiskairumoko site, in Peru, a gold and turquoise necklace that is the oldest gold artifact ever found in the Americas, about 4100 years old. The gold beads were hammered and perforated to be mounted in the necklace. The jewel was found in a tomb and it is believed that it belonged to a noble woman. Read more in the links below.
