The cherry blossom season is a tourist attraction in USA's capital, Washinton, D.C., marking the beginning of spring. Like in other places in the world, the flowers of the cherry tree, a plant of Asian origin, are admired for their delicate and ephemeral beauty, lasting only from one to two weeks.
